  • Eligibility: Open to all students. Teams of 1–4.

  • Original work: Projects must be created during the hackathon. Pre-existing libraries/frameworks are allowed; pre-built full projects are not.

  • Appropriate content: No harassment, hate, threats, or explicit content.

  • Intellectual property: Teams retain ownership of their projects. By submitting, you grant the hackathon permission to showcase your project for event promotion (unless you opt out).

    Prizes: $50 total in cash prizes (awarded to top projects).

    • Impact & Empathy (25) — real user, real need, thoughtful approach

    • Creativity (20) — fresh idea or clever twist

    • Build Quality (20) — works as shown; stable demo

    • Design & Accessibility (15) — easy to use; inclusive; readable

    • Safety & Responsibility (10) — privacy, safe content, honest limitations
